The “MAGNUM CARP LAKE” fishery is charmingly situated in Zabłocie, and to the south there is a panorama of the ridges of the Silesian Beskids. It is covered by a form of nature protection – the Natura 2000 area “Upper Vistula Valley“, where waterfowl are subject to special protection.

In the immediate vicinity and within a range of several dozen kilometers there are many interesting objects and tourist attractions that are worth seeing during your stay at the fishery.

The nearest town is STRUMIEŃ with a rococo town hall from 1628, which is the oldest town hall in the Silesian Voivodeship. It is also worth seeing the market square and baroque tenement houses as well as the church of St. Barbara.

The VISTULA BICYCLE ROUTE runs near the fishery, which directly along the Vistula riverbed allows you to reach Skoczów (14 km) comfortably and scenically and then Ustroń (22 km) and Wisła (31 km). Along the way, there are many places where you can stop to admire the views of the Silesian Beskids or relax by the river.

To the south, there is the health resort USTRÓŃ, where, among tourist attractions and rich gastronomy, you can visit the Leśny Park Niespodzianek – one of the most interesting tourist attractions for children in this area (the possibility of feeding animals, a playground and a zip-line).

Easily accessible places are Mount Czantoria, where you can go by chairlift, and Równica.

In Wisła, you can reach the sources of the Vistula River on the slopes of Barania Góra and start hiking along tourist trails that start here. The spa character of the city allows you to spend time here on the promenade, in parks and admiring the monuments.

It is worth seeing the ski jump. Adam Małysz in Wisła-Malinka with the construction point K120 and size HS 134.

From the Vistula, you can start your journey along the SMALL BESKIDZKA LOOP to Szczyrk and return to the hunting ground via Bielsko-Biała (a total of 100 km). THE LARGE BESKID LOOP is a trip through Istebna, Koniaków to Węgierska Górka and Żywiec, and then back through Bielsko-Biała.

BIELSKO-BIAŁA

BIELSKO-BIAŁA (30 km / 35 minutes by car) has a rich commercial and cultural offer. It is a frequent tourist destination due to the numerous architectural monuments and the immediate proximity of the mountains.

Polish Theatre

Banialuka Puppet Theater – one of the most famous puppet theaters in Poland. It is the organizer of the International Festival of Puppet Art (May).

– In 2022, the construction of the Interactive Tale and Animation Center began, which is to act as a museum and thematic entertainment and educational center based on the achievements of the Cartoon Film Studio, where fairy tales such as Reksio, Bolek i Lolek, Abduction of Baltazar Gąbka were created

–  Motor Museum – a collection of old cars and other automotive exhibits made available in the former factory at 1 Kazimierza Wielki Street by the Automobilklub Beskidzki, which is also the organizer of the annual International Beskid Rally of Historic Vehicles (July).

The most important monuments of Bielsko-Biała are:

Old Town, Bielski Zion, 11 Listopada Street, ul. Barlickiego, Town Hall, Polish Theatre, Bielsko-Biała Główna railway station, main post office building, President Hotel, former Pod Orłem Hotel, Pod Żabami tenement house, Church of Divine Providence, Church of St. Stanislaus in Stare Bielsko (the oldest Gothic church in the city), the church of St. Barbara in Mikuszowice (wooden), numerous factory owners’ villas, industrial monuments, a stronghold in Stare Bielsko.

CIESZYN

CIESZYN is located 22 km / 23 minutes by car. It is the capital of the geographical and historical land of “Cieszyn Silesia”, located near the border on the Olza River.

It is worth participating, for example, in the Theater Festival Without Borders (October) or in the Film Review Kino na Granicy (April / May). The Theater in Cieszyn also has a wide range of repertoire.

The nucleus of today’s city is Góra Zamkowa, where the oldest traces of settlement date back to the 6th-5th century BC. It is worth seeing the Romanesque rotunda, the castle and visiting the Cieszyn Brewery (www.browarcieszyn.pl) – the longest operating brewery in Poland (since 1846).

The most important monuments of Cieszyn are:

Góra Zamkowa (the 11th-century Romanesque rotunda of St. Nicholas, the Piast Tower from the 14th century, the Habsburg Palace from the 19th century, fragments of the Piast castle, an English park with monuments of nature), the parish church of St. Maria Magdalena, the Church of Jesus in Cieszyn from the 18th century (the largest Evangelical-Augsburg church in Poland), the buildings of the Market Square, Cieszyn’s old town, “Cieszyn Venice”, the Three Brothers’ Well, Teatr im. Adam Mickiewicz.

PSZCZYNA

The nearby Pszczyna (18 km / 22 min by car) is a town with a preserved urban layout and many monuments, including the most important Pszczyna Castle, where the Castle Museum is located. The adjacent historic park in the English style has an area of 156 ha.

The other most important monuments of Pszczyna are:
Market Square, Town Hall, Gates: Chinese and Chosen, Church of All Saints, Evangelical-Augsburg Church, Open-Air Museum “Zagroda Wsi Pszczyńskiej”.

GOCZAŁKOWICE LAKE

Almost in the neighborhood (from 2 km in a straight line) there is LAKE GOCZAŁKOWICKIE – a dam reservoir on the Vistula River created in 1956 by damming river waters with a dam in Goczałkowice – Zdrój. Its area is a maximum of 3,200 ha. It is a retention reservoir that supplies water to part of the GOP. It also performs retention and economic functions (fishing economy).

The vicinity of the reservoir is a breeding place for many species of birds, hence it is covered with special protection in the form of the Natura 2000 area “Dolina Górnej Wisły”.

Hiking and cycling recreation takes place on the crest of the dam, which is 2,980 m long. It is also a great and a picturesque place for roller skating.
